Daytime is the format we'd recommend for a 60th, and it's the one we host most often.
A typical afternoon:
12:00 — Arrival, drinks on the terrace, guests settling in
13:00 — Lunch served — seated, buffet, or a BBQ on the terrace
15:00 — Cake and speeches, while everyone is still in one place
Afternoon — Coffee, dessert, the garden, and people leaving when they're ready
It's an easier shape than an evening party. Nobody's driving home in the dark, the grandchildren aren't past their bedtime, and the people who want to stay until six can.We can run it as an evening dinner instead if that's what you'd rather.
